DRESSAGE

Dressage is a riding test scored by a judge, in a rectangular dressage arena. Riders learn the 6-8 minute test beforehand and all competitors in a section do the same test one after the other. It is about showing the judge that you can get your pony to follow your requests willingly and calmly. Riders receive a mark out of 10 for each part of the test, and at the end of the competition the winner is the horse and rider with the highest score.
