Pony Club Australia is committed to ensuring that Pony Club provides a safe environment for riders, horses, volunteers and spectators to participate in events and activities.
The Hot Weather Policy seeks to provide direction and guidance on how to manage Pony Club events and activities when experiencing extreme weather conditions. This Policy sets out what should be considered when conducting events in extreme weather conditions and when cancellation is the best course of action.

By understanding the causes of heat illness health professionals, coaches, players and anyone involved in sport or physical activity can help prevent heat illness by using the advice provided in the Guidelines to minimise the risks.
