[…] Mansfield PC for hosting our State Horse Trials Festival, and the PCV organising committees that delivered the State Games, Flat & Musical Ride, Ride to Time and Tetrathlon Championships, and our Quiz and Prince Phillip Mounted Games events. 20 Pony Club Australia Annual Report 2022 Queensland 2022 brought a new challenge to our members, zones, clubs and staf f with the introduction of the new national online membership database. The tradition of an annual State Seminar set the stage for 2022 hosted by Southpor t Pony Club. The State Chief Instructors Panel and Regional Directors of Coaching met prior to the State Seminar in the first of two scheduled workshops for 2022 with the second being held mid-year at the Pony Club Queensland Of fice. These workshops are impor tant and integral to the planning for the year of the ongoing education and upskilling of our coaches, of ficials and riders which is carried out across the state through our intensive and robust coaching network. Momentum is steadily building across the state for the Queensland State Chief Instructor Medal initiative which acknowledges the good practical horseperson within Pony Club Queensland and is designed to encourage Pony Club members to progressively develop practical horseperson skills. Again, Queensland was subjected to terrible weather in the first half of the year with significant flooding af fecting the south east and south west of the state resulting in several clubs being inundated with floodwaters and unable to operate. Those clubs throughout the state not af fected by the flooding, returned to regular musters, clinics, competitions and face to face Pony Club friendship. Due to the hard-working ...
