You’ll receive on-the-job training at a stud farm, earn a full-time wage, and work towards a nationally recognised qualification—a Certificate III in Horse Breeding. It’s a perfect opportunity for Pony Club members who are keen to deepen their knowledge and skills in the equine industry while also being paid!
What Will You Get Out of It?

Program Details
The 12-month program begins with a full-time paid traineeship on a stud farm, where you’ll learn everything from horse care to breeding practices. You’ll also attend two intensive learning blocks in Scone, which include six weeks of practical and classroom training, field trips, and personal development workshops.
Graduates from past intakes have gone on to work in roles such as farm managers, international course participants, and even secured spots in prestigious courses like the Godolphin Flying Start program.
