There are a number of opportunities coming up across Pony Club Australia, from virtual competition pathways through to international exchange involvement.

2026 PCIA Virtual Dressage Competition – Expressions of Interest

Expressions of Interest are now open for the 2026 PCIA Virtual Dressage Competition, expected to be held in September/October (dates to be confirmed).

In previous years, the competition has been run across four levels:

  • USDF First Level
  • USDF Second Level
  • USDF Third Level
  • Freestyle or Pas de Deux

This competition provides an opportunity for riders to represent Pony Club Australia in an international virtual format.

Please note, this competition is separate to the PCIA Virtual Dressage Training Challenge. The Training Challenge focuses on improvement across two rounds, where teams receive judges’ feedback in Round 1 and aim to improve their score in Round 2. Pony Club Australia’s team for the 2026 Training Challenge will be announced shortly.

2026 International Tetrathlon Exchange – Horse Expressions of Interest

Pony Club Australia is seeking expressions of interest from horse owners in South East Queensland and Northern NSW to provide suitable horses for the Pony Club International Tetrathlon Exchange this July.

This event will welcome riders from Australia, the UK, USA, Ireland, New Zealand and Canada. Participating riders are experienced and capable, with many competing at eventing levels up to 2*, along with showjumpers competing around 1 metre.
