A Global Pony Club Connection
The Pony Club International Alliance (PCIA) was formed in 1980 to unite independent Pony Club organisations and now includes:
- The UK Pony Club
- Pony Club Australia
- Pony Club New Zealand
- Pony Club South Africa
- Pony Club Hong Kong
- The US Pony Club
- The Canadian Pony Club
In 2018, representatives from all PCIA countries met to strengthen a shared global identity for Pony Club, fostering collaboration and international opportunity.
The PCIA promotes cross-border participation through international exchanges in Tetrathlon, Mounted Games, Quiz and Hunting, as well as virtual Show Jumping and Dressage competitions.
Training Challenge Introduced
This year also marked the introduction of the PCIA Virtual Dressage Training Challenge. The program allowed riders to submit a filmed test, receive judge feedback, and re-film their test to demonstrate progress, supporting rider education and development.
Australian riders participated in both the Training Level (for riders aged 14 and under) and Prix Caprilli (open age) divisions, further extending Pony Club Australia’s involvement in international learning and competition.
Congratulations
Pony Club Australia congratulates all riders, horses, clubs and teams on these impressive results — a reflection of the organisation’s strong equestrian community and commitment to developing well-rounded, capable riders across the country.
