Planning is well underway for Pony Club Australia’s national and international events and exchanges in 2026, with a strong focus on providing clear pathways and meaningful opportunities for riders, coaches and team officials.
While some dates and details are still being confirmed, several international exchange opportunities are scheduled throughout the year, including cultural and sporting exchanges with partner organisations in China and the Asia-Pacific region.
Expressions of Interest for Mounted Games, Tetrathlon, and the March CPC Cultural Exchange have now closed, with selection processes currently underway.
Upcoming international exchange opportunities in 2026 include:
May – CPC Asia & Pacific Cup Showjumping Challenge (Fuzhou)
October – CPC International Exchange (Suzhou)
In addition to in-person exchanges, members will also have opportunities to participate in international virtual competitions in 2026, including Virtual Dressage (May/June) and Virtual Showjumping (date to be confirmed). These programs provide accessible pathways for riders to gain international experience while competing from their home environment.
To help streamline communication and planning, riders, coaches and team managers are encouraged to register their interest in upcoming events through the central Expressions of Interest form. This allows PCA to keep participants informed as details are confirmed and future opportunities open.
More detailed information about specific events, nominations and selection processes will be shared with members as it becomes available.
In addition, planning is underway for volunteer roles, including support for the International Tetrathlon Exchange to be hosted in Queensland. Further information about volunteer opportunities will be shared in coming months.
Members interested in representing Pony Club Australia, or supporting our teams, are encouraged to stay engaged with updates and submit an Expression of Interest when relevant.
