We’re excited to invite PCA members to nominate for the 2025 Pony Club International Alliance (PCIA) Virtual Dressage Competition — a unique online event uniting riders from:
- UK Pony Club
- Pony Club New Zealand
- Pony Club South Africa
- Pony Club Hong Kong
- United States Pony Clubs
- Canadian Pony Club
- Pony Club Australia
This is your chance to ride for Australia and showcase your skills alongside Pony Club members from around the world — without leaving home!
Who Can Enter?
The competition is open to eligible Pony Club Australia members. Selection is based on:
- Your 2024–2025 dressage results
- Referee checks
- Supporting information submitted via the nomination form
Your C Certificate is preferred but not required. Final selections are approved by your State Officer and the PCA Board.

Available Classes
There are four classes — you may be selected as part of a national team or as an individual in a combined international team.
Class 1 – First Level
Test: USDF First Level Test 1 (2023)
Eligibility: 18 years & under*
Class 2 – Second Level
Test: USDF Second Level Test 1 (2023)
Eligibility: 25 years & under*
Class 3 – Third Level
Test: USDF Third Level Test 1 (2023)
Eligibility: 25 years & under*
Class 4 – Freestyle to Music
Test: USDF First Level Freestyle (2023)
Eligibility: Open to all ages (fancy dress optional!)
*Age as of 1 January 2025
Key Dates
- Nominations close: 31 July
- Show website launches: 20 September
- Video upload window: 20–30 September
- Judging period: 1–14 October
- Results announced: 19 October
- Public query period: 20–26 October
- Final results confirmed: 27 October
How It Works

- Get selected based on your performance, references, and eligibility
- Film and upload your test during the video upload window
- Results released online after judging
