Pony Club Australia is thrilled to welcome VIPA Body Protection Vests as a sponsor of the PCA Annual Awards.
VIPA is an Australian-owned and operated business founded by retired champion jockey Greg Childs and his wife, Diane. They will be sponsoring the category “Best Achievement by a Rider Aged 12 and Under.”
The VIPA III (Level 3) body protector is the highest standard in rider safety, meeting Pony Club Australia compliance requirements. Made from Air Mesh, a lightweight and durable material, this body protector offers exceptional strength and ventilation. Its design incorporates shock-absorbing foam with air holes, ensuring optimal comfort and airflow for young riders.

Greg Childs, who has an impressive record of approximately 2,100 wins—including two Cox Plates and two Caulfield Cups—began his riding journey as a member of Stratford Pony Club in New Zealand. Both of Greg and Diane’s children, Jordan and Tayla, were also members of Tullamarine Pony Club in Victoria.
A heartfelt thank you to VIPA for joining our incredible community of Pony Club Australia supporters. We look forward to celebrating the achievements of our young riders at this year’s awards!
