This year, Anzac Day held special meaning for Pony Clubs in Zone 9 of NSW. Instead of their usual Rally Day, they all came together for a combined event to honour this important day.

Hosted by Bellinger River Pony Club at the Bellingen Showgrounds, members from North Dorrigo, Nambucca River, Glenreagh, and Guyra Pony Clubs gathered for a day of togetherness and remembrance.

Members enjoyed homemade Anzac biscuits for morning tea and then had a mounted parade and service of commemoration. Riding members had fun participating in many different disciplines.

A highlight was a presentation by visiting member Norm Cheeseman from Nambucca River Pony Club. He brought his own light horseman tack and uniform, sharing interesting stories with everyone.

The neighbouring clubs said it was great to spend the day together!
