Best Achievement by a Rider Aged 13 – 17 Years
Natasha has been a dedicated member of her local pony club since she was eight years old, consistently participating in rallies and a variety of club events.
Over the years, she has taken part in pony club camps and horse trials competitions, while also committing her time to volunteering in roles such as Jump Judge at Dunnolly Pony Club. Her enthusiasm for learning extends beyond her own riding, as Natasha has also contributed to her club by designing and building a show jumping course and assisting in instructing her peers during rallies.
Natasha’s commitment to professional growth is evident through her regular instruction with both dressage and show jumping coaches, as well as biomechanics specialists. Over the past 12 months, she successfully completed her Leadership Certificate through Pony Club, and has actively taken on leadership roles at events. Her hard work, dedication, and improvement in both her riding and leadership are recognized by her coaches and the broader Pony Club community.
Natasha’s involvement doesn’t stop at her own riding development. She is known for her kindness and willingness to help others, particularly younger riders. Natasha regularly volunteers at rallies, whether by walking show jumping courses with younger members, offering encouragement and support, or volunteering to call another rider’s dressage test. She is also frequently seen capturing videos of her peers’ rounds to help them review and improve their skills. Her commitment to helping others was particularly evident when, at an Easter event, she sought permission from the judges to stand in the show jumping ring and support a young rider making his first attempt at a challenging height—an act of compassion and leadership that was greatly appreciated.
Natasha’s contributions to her Pony Club go beyond her riding abilities. Her patient guidance and dedication to her fellow riders have been praised by both parents and club members. One notable example is her consistent support for a younger rider, helping him walk courses and providing valuable tips to improve his confidence and skills. Natasha’s commitment to upholding the values of horse welfare and good competition etiquette makes her an exemplary role model for others.
