Best Achievement by a Rider Aged Over 25 Years

Mallory Walker has been a dedicated member of the Maryborough and District Horse and Pony Club (MDHPC) for over 25 years, beginning her riding journey at just 5 years old.

As a senior rider, Mallory continues to participate in Pony Club activities, embodying the spirit of lifelong learning and community involvement. She regularly attends rallies, supports her club by coaching when needed, and consistently acts as a positive role model and mentor to younger riders.

A proud representative of MDHPC, Mallory competes in club events and open sections, always donning her club uniform. She eagerly joins club teams at Zone events whenever possible, enjoying the camaraderie and teamwork involved. Committed to continuous improvement, Mallory strives to get the most out of every lesson, always maintaining a respectful and courteous approach with her coaches and officials.

Mallory is known for her impeccable horse care and thoughtful riding, ensuring her horses are well-prepared and never asked to give more than they can. She has embraced Pony Club’s evolving curriculum, taking particular interest in equitation science through training with a coach who holds a diploma in the field.

Beyond her riding achievements, Mallory’s contributions to her club are numerous. She volunteers at working bees, fundraisers, and events, and is often found assisting with set-up and pack-up at rallies. As a registered nurse, Mallory also steps in as a club first aider when required. Her dedication and service were recently recognized when she was awarded life membership at MDHPC.
